Tooth decay is caused by acid attack, causing the enamel and dentine of the tooth to soften. This causes a cavity (hole) in the tooth, which then requires the tooth to be filled.

We can offer composite (tooth coloured) fillings, which are more aesthetically pleasing for the patient. The decay is removed, then replaced with the filling material.

Although there is no proven harm in amalgam (silver) fillings, we are also able to replace amalgam fillings with composite, even ceramic ones!
