Teeth Whitening
Teeth become stained due to the food and drinks we consume, and also through smoking. Whitening your teeth is a way to get your bright, white smille back.
Impressions are taken of your teeth, then trays are made that fit your teeth exactly. It is recommended that you wear them for at least three hours at a time, however if you can sleep with them in, this is the best option.
You apply a small amount of tooth bleach into the tooth area of the trays, then simply place the trays into your mouth. Once you are finished, remove the trays, rinse them out and clean your teeth as usual.
Do not eat, drink or smoke with the trays in, and try to avoid consuming staining foods and drinks during the whitening period.
Your teeth may become sensitive whilst using the bleach. The sensitivity should subside once you stop using the bleaching trays, however your dentist will be able to give you a de-sensitising gel if the problem persists.
