Adult tooth straightening is now available using the new Inman Aligner.

The Inman Aligner is a simple removable appliance used to straighten front teeth quickly and safely. It's ideal as a treatment by itself or to move teeth prior to further cosmetic options such as bonding or minimal veneers. In most cases the treatment will be completed within 6-18 weeks, but your dentist will be able to give you a more realistic guide for your own case.

 

Treatment can only begin after a consultation with your dentist to assess your suitability. Impressions will be taken so that the lab can custom make your Inman Aligner and then your Aligner will be fitted, along with creating tiny spaces between the teeth. The Aligner will need to be worn 16-20 hours a day and you will need regular checks and adjustments with your dentist every 2-3 weeks. Once treatment is completed, like any orthodontic treatment, retention is recommended for life to prevent relapse. This can come in the form of a bonded retainer glued to the backs of the teeth or a clear, removable retainer, usually worn at night.
